A Kenner native and NOCCA and Julliard alum, Jon Batiste launches his career as bandleader for CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 8) on WWL-TV. The premiere episode will feature guests George Clooney, Jeb Bush and a spotlight performance by Batiste and his band Stay Human plus special guests.
