The National Black Arts Festival, in collaboration with Emory University and First Congregational Church, UCC is pleased to present Black Music of the World: Tools of Revolution and Reclamation. This event will feature the screening of William Klein’s documentary film “Pan-African Film festival” 1969 and a panel discussion.

Attorney, activist and former Black Panther, Kathleen Cleaver will join artists and Emory Scholar Michael D. Harris, artist/independent scholar Ed Spriggs, and GSU Ethnomusicologist Oliver Nathan Greene on our distinguished panel. Pellom McDaniels, curator of Emory’s African American Collections at the Rose Library, will serve as Moderator.
